Announcements for Week 1

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

• Bring your min. of 3 personal goals to class on Wednesday, Jan 29th (I will sign them off)

• Print, read, annotate, and bring to class the articles by Anzaldua AND Tan (see "Readings" folder on SacCT) for Friday, Jan 31st. Also, BEFORE CLASS ON FRIDAY, POST 2 PARAGRAPHS to SacCT on the following: (1) what each article is about (2) how the articles are similar and/or different and (3) how these articles might be similar to and/or different from your own personal experiences and opinions

• BUY YOUR CLASS TEXTBOOK (if you have not already done so) and read and annotate pages 211-220 for Monday, Feb 3rd. Also, BEFORE CLASS ON MONDAY, POST a 1-2 PARAGRAPH SUMMARY of this READING to SacCT (talk about the main points and the concepts you find most useful).  

NOTE: if you need help accessing SacCT and/or have questions regarding the homework, please send me an e-mail ASAP (and NOT right before class!). Also, aside from my office hours on Mondays from 10-10:50, you can always schedule an appointment to meet me in my office.
